With enough of these individual parts painting a broader picture we help make it possible to imagine that future, which in turn helps us to come up with new ideas of how to make it possible. In other words, we don't need to show how Star Fleet got created to show a cool ship demonstrating its ideals in missions around the galaxy. It's a great question, and an important one for Solarpunk in general. With these prompts we try to focus on individual aspects because it's easier to see the pieces than the whole. We can go deep on one subject in a story and say, "that's how this community got beyond food scarcity!" without having to be burdened by solving the entire problem in one single work. 1/2
